Situated at an altitude of 13,054 feet above sea level, Rohtang Pass is known as the gateway to Lahaul and Spiti valleys. The word ‘Rohtang’ literally means ‘ground of corpses as many people died here in wake of crossing the valley in the past. Located on the Pir Panjal Mountain ranges of the Himalayas, Rohtang Pass witnesses a rare mix of Hindu as well as Buddhist cultural beliefs. Known for its extraordinary scenic delight, Rohtang Pass is an important tourist attraction of the year where tourists come in large numbers to enjoy their time.

Beas Kund:-
Trekkers could find the perfect spot to enjoy their time at Beas Kund. Located at higher and upper valley of Solang, Beas Kund is the core of the summer and winter games in Manali. Enjoy trekking at Hanman Tibba in Dhauladhar Range, across Makerbeh and Shikar Beh. It is the starting point of the Beas River as the Sage Beas meditated hard for long twelve years for initiating a water source here. That’s why, it is called Beas river after the Saint’s name. Camping at night would be an interesting thing to do here.

Marhi:-
If you’re looking for a simple and laid-back place to cherish moments of happiness, Marhi could suffice your needs. Ideal for picnics and stopovers, people at Marhi are warm and welcoming towards tourists. An attractive Paragliding spot, you can enjoy challenging your gut here.

How to Reach

Train:
You can board a train from Jogindernagar railway station, nearest railhead to Manali that connects the hill station with several important cities of the country.

Road: 
Kullu has well-developed roadways that connects the region from rest of Himachal Pradesh. Hire a cab/taxi for a hassle-free journey.

Air:
You can take up an inward flight from the nearest Bhuntar Airport which is about 50 kms away from Manali.
