Located about 12 kms away from Kaza, Kee Monastery is an ancient gompas has a web of corridors and rooms that houses precious Thangkas while offering a scenic natural pleasure of the nearby region.  With an altitude of 4,166 mts above sea level, the monastery is a picturesque hilltop for catching unseen sights. Its proximity to the river Spiti makes it, a really desirable location in the district. According to local legends, the monastery is about thousand years old and largest in the region, acting a strong pillar of the Tibetan culture and history. You can find ancient Buddhist scrolls and paintings here. On your visit, you’ll get to interact with monks, nuns and lamas who live here in difficult conditions.

By Road:
Take down the roads either the side of Kullu- Manali or Shimla to reach Lahaul and Spiti by a private taxi will take your favored locations.

By Rail:
The nearest railway station is Chandigarh from where you can reach Lahaul & Spiti easily through cabs.

By Airport:
Bhunter in Kullu is the nearest airport which offers well-connected by flights from Delhi, Chandigarh, etc.
