Post breakfast, leave for Sangla.Being a sacred Hindu temple, this temple is counted amongst the 51 Devi Shaktipeeths in India. Drive towards Sangla, check in to hotel or choose to stay in a luxury tented accommodation. After lunch, enjoy a stroll towards the Kamru and Sangla villages where you can visit the beautifully carved old temples and Buddhist monasteries. Interact with local people and listen to their stories. Spend the rest of night at the hotel.
After enjoying your breakfast, leave for Sangla to visit the local Kamru village and Kamru Fort having a dedicated temple of Kamaksha Devi. Being a populous and fertile village, Sangla is located at an altitude of 2621 mts above sea level and at a distance of 17 kms from Karcham. Echoing the scenic beauty of the gigantic Raldang Peaks, from Sangla reach Chitkul – the inhabited village on the Indo-Tibetan border. Located along the famous Baspa valley, Chitkul has terrain and green vegetation on the slopes. Also, get a chance to catch the glimpse of the mighty Mt. Kinner Khailash from here. Spend the night at Sangla.
Enjoy breakfast, check out from hotel and proceed for Kalpa Village– an extraordinary scenic place. Halt at the Recongpeo – the district headquarters of Kinnaur district. Enjoy your walk around the local market and dine in a local restaurant enjoying various Indian and Tibetan delicacies. Post lunch, drive to Kalpa and rest in your hotel for an overnight stay.
After a quick breakfast, you’ll be taken to visit the nearby Kalpa and Roghi villages where you can discover thick pine forests and massive apple & apricot orchards.
