Bir and Billing is an important paragliding site in Kanga district and counted one of the best treks of the world. Bir is located an altitude of 1500 mts above sea level and Billing remains at a height of over 2000 mts above sea level, bestowing the best scenic views of hills and tea gardens. Being a favorite location for all adventurous lovers, travelers flock in great numbers to try their guts paragliding. Many paragliding events are being regularly conducted here. While paragliding, you get the mesmerizing scenic views of the Dhaluadhar range and the Kangra Valley. The best flying season is September to November but it is open throughout the year, depending on the weather of the region. 

How to Reach

By Air:
Board a flight from the nearest Gaggal airport in Kangra city to popular cities of Jammu, Amritsar and Chandigarh.

By Train:
The nearest railway station is Pathankot Junction which is about 90 kms away from Kangra.

By Road:
The place is well-connected to different locations in Himachal Pradesh. Catch state owned buses from Palampur, Dharamshala, Pathankot, Amritsar, Jammu, Chandigarh, Shimla etc. You can also hire a private taxi or cab for a comfortable journey.
